Presentation
Clean the interior and exterior. Remove personal items and clutter. Fix small issues (stuck cupboards, loose fittings) if it’s cheap to do. A tidy, well-maintained van photographs better and gives buyers confidence. If the self-containment warrant (green or blue — blue expires 7 June 2026) or WOF is due soon, consider renewing so the listing shows “current” and you can ask a stronger price.
Photos
Use good light and clear angles: exterior (all sides if possible), cab, bed, kitchen, toilet area (if applicable), and any damage or wear so buyers aren’t surprised. List key specs in the description: make/model, year, odometer, engine, self-contained (yes/no, warrant expiry), gas/12V/solar. See how to sell for more on descriptions.
Paperwork
Have the MR13A form ready (or know how to complete the seller section online). Buyers will want to see rego, WOF, and self-containment warrant. Service history and receipts for recent work can help. Be ready to complete the ownership transfer when you’re paid in full.
Pricing
Search completed listings for similar vans (age, type, condition). Price realistically — overpriced vans sit unsold. Highlight recent WOF, warrant, rego, tyres, or servicing in the ad. See how to sell your campervan and where to list for platforms and timing.
