Rankers (Camping NZ app and website) lists campsites with ratings and reviews. Good for comparing freedom camping and holiday parks. Useful to cross-check with council/DOC rules as conditions change.

WikiCamps (NZ version) is another option with campsites, dump stations, and facilities. Community-updated. Paid app. Often used alongside CamperMate or Rankers for coverage.
